One of the very first questions that we get from customers who are looking for us to install window tint on their vehicles or other areas is whether or not they can remove it themselves. So, here is the most honest answer that we are going to be able to provide for you! Of course, you are going to be able to remove the film on your own. Yet, if you don’t do it with the proper care of technique it is also very possible that you are going to end up scratching the windows and just making a pretty big mess. That is what we want to avoid.

Do I Have To Wait To Get It Removed?

The quick answer to this question is no. If you just were not pleased with the way that the tinted film looks on your windows you can go ahead and have it removed. If the question is more along the lines of do you have to wait for it to sort of fade away, definitely not. That is one of the main benefits that you are going to be able to get from wraps and tinted windows. They don’t tend to be permanent in any way.

Can You Use A Heat Gun or Hair Dryer To Remove Window Tint?

There is just so much information online about this subject that it becomes very hard to figure out who is telling the truth and who isn’t. That is one of the reasons why we are usually not going to recommend to our customers that they try and remove their window tints on their own. There is really no telling how much a botched attempt at this is going to affect your windows. The best way to play it safe is to get our guys on the job and leaving the hairdryer in the bathroom.  

This is A Pretty Quick Process

This is not something that is going to take a long time for us to do even if we are going to have to remove tint from a lot of windows. That is another one of the reasons why we tend to urge people to get professional help with this particular service.
